Background
Established:
2000 by the Tooling & Manufacturing Association Government Relations Committee
Purpose:
To promote a legislative and political climate supportive of TMA member interests in the state of Illinois; and to raise and disperse founds to political candidates for the state legislature and the executive branch, without regard to party affiliation, who have demonstrated their interest and understanding of TMA member viewpoints on issues of concern to TMA members.
How the PAC Works
For TMA Members:
Keeps members informed and educated about the electoral & legislative process
Directs ways for members to be more involved in the industry and how it is governed
Keeps members advised about candidates the PAC supports
PAC funds assist in the election of state legislative candidates and candidates for statewide office who hold positions on issues compatible with those of TMA members and TMA
Help keep Illinois manufacturing viable and competitive in today's marketplace.
