Sponsor the 2013 TMA Manufacturing Summer Camp

As part of an initiative aimed at introducing and increasing the exposure of manufacturing careers to high school students, TMA is excited to announce our 3rd Annual Manufacturing Summer Camp.

TMA campers will gain a firsthand look at the field of manufacturing during the two-week program which runs July 15-25, 2013, Monday through Thursday, 8-4PM. There will be a classroom component during which students will complete Work Keys assessments for National Career Readiness and certification testing for an MSSC Safety Module. Participants will also spend part of their day touring member facilities in an effort to introduce them to the various options a career in manufacturing can offer.

This camp would not be possible without the generous sponsorships and facility tours given by our members. We hope that you will support TMA’s efforts to bridge the gap between qualified workers and companies looking to hire through a $500 sponsorship. These sponsorships help subsidize tuition and allow us to offer scholarships to students. Sponsors of the 2013 Summer Camp have the opportunity to expose manufacturing careers to a new generation by:

Host a facility tour
Present directly to students during the camp
Speak directly to graduating students about possible internship or employment opportunities
